Meaning of Safety And It's Importance in Our Daily Life

WHAT IS SAFETY?

Safety in a simple meaning is the state of being 'safe'. It is the condition of being protected from unlikely to cause danger, risk or injury. It's a condition of being protected against physical, social, spiritual, financial, political, emotional, Occupational, psychological, educational or other types of consequences of failure

damage, error, accidents, harm or any other event which could be considered non-desirable. This can take the form of being protected from the event or from exposure to something that causes health or economical losses. It can include protection of people or possessions.







Safety means keeping yourself and others from harm or danger. It means taking care not to fall or bump or run into things that can cause danger or harm you. Practicing safety is very important in our lives in any circumstances, by doing this you can avoid accidents being careful with all what you are doing. It is better you avoid accident than allowing it happen. Safety is a freedom from all condition that can cause injury and damage to life and property.


SAFETY AT HOME


In other to have a smooth day in our various houses, we need to practice safety at home. Accidents occur everyday in various houses due to lack of awareness, carelessness and proper training on how to safeguard our lives practicing safety. Most of us don't regard this as an importance in our daily life. You can imagine a man climbing the building of his house to amend damage portion without using a Ladder, which is a 'RISK' and taking risk can result to 'DANGER' which causes 'INJURY'. More tutorial on this terms in my next post. Keeping the surrounding of your home tidy is safety, keep sharp objects away from children because they can harm themselves with it. You must always keep the floor of your house dry always because if the floor is wet and slippery, people can step on it and fall and this can cause accident. There will be more on how to keep yourself and people around you safe always practicing safety.
